Creaton Parish Council has recently set up an Emergency Planning Committee to formulate a plan of resources and services in the event of a disaster. Parish Councils have been encouraged to consider such a committee in the light of the flooding across the country earlier in the year. Whilst this may not be a potential hazard for much of Creaton, there are other possibilities for which the village should be prepared.
